Description
ACCESS: Access to standard trains is by climbing 3 steps using handrails fixed to the wall. The width of the train doors (70 cm) prevents the passage of a wheelchair.
WHEELCHAIRS: Wheelchairs and folding walkers are accepted on board free of charge. Staff are not authorized to use any physical force whatsoever to lift a passenger onto the train. For safety reasons, specialized equipment cannot remain in the central aisle of the train and will be deposited in the baggage area (not accessible during the journey).
MOTORIZED ARMCHAIRS: Due to their weight, and in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations, staff are not authorized to handle motorized wheelchairs and/or electric scooters, nor to take them on board the train.

Additional information
The ideal location for a wheelchair user would be in the seat section closest to the toilet. Here are the two options:
1. With transfer: Transfer possible on the seat (no armrests) and wheelchair storage space in front of the seat (83 cm x 96 cm).
2. Without transfer: Lock the two seats closest to the toilet and position the wheelchair user in the clear space in front of the seats (83 cm x 96 cm).
The main obstacle to these two options is the width of the door between the seats and the washroom. At its narrowest, the door is 70 cm wide.
